
Dogs win final gameThe Portland Sea Dogs pounded out 15 hits, including four home runs, to end their season with a 12-4 rout of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats Monday afternoon at Hadlock Field. Jon Still hit two of the home runs, giving him 17 for the season, and 89 RBI. Ryan Kalish (13th) and Juan Apodaca (5th) also homered. Jorge Jimenez went 3-for-6 (.289 average) with three RBI (87 for the year). Daniel Nava, who played 32 games for the Sea Dogs, went 3-for-5 and finished with a .364 average. Blake Maxwell (7-8) got the win with six innings pitched (8 H, 4 R, 1 BB, 7 K). The Sea Dogs' final record was 67-74. Bookmark/Search this post with:
