Maine football

Maine Coach Jack Cosgrove added a few thoughts about the decision to rotate QB Warren Smith into the Northeastern game in this morning's Colonial Athletic Association conference call.

Cosgrove said: "It's pretty obvious he's a talented young man and can throw the football. It was time for him to get on the field. When you have good players you have to find a way to get your best 11 on."

That's similar to his postgame on Saturday.
