Maine football ranked No. 19The University of Maine football team is ranked No. 19 in the FCS Preseason Top-25 Coaches Poll. The poll, released Monday, was chosen by select head coaches in FCS football. Eight Colonial Athletic Association teams were ranked in the poll.

Jenn covers Maine college sports for the Portland Press Herald/Maine Sunday Telegram. A former Portland Pirates beat writer who has covered two winter Olympics for the paper, Jenn will expand her beat this year to include the University of Southern Maine, St. Joseph's College, Bowdoin College, the University of New England, and Southern Maine Community College.
