Meet the GOP candidatesThe Portland Republican City Committee is hosting a candidates’ night/fundraiser on Thursday (Oct. 8) with an admission price of $50 per person. Four of the six announced Republican candidates have committed to the event with Paul LePage, Peter Mills, Bruce Poliquin and Martin Vachon set to take part at the Italian Heritage Center at 40 Westland Avenue in Portland. The night’s activities include a 5:30 reception, with speeches by candidates starting at 6:30. Tickets can be purchased at http://site.portlandcitygop.com/.
