Obama-Biden health care session set for Tuesday
Got something to say about health system reform?
The Maine Medical Association is hosting an Obama-Biden Transition Team Health Care Listening Session from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at the Augusta Civic Center.
It's one of more than 1,000 similar sessions being held across the country. The forum in Augusta will be moderated by Dr. Joel Kase, president-elect of the Maine Osteopathic Association and Gordon Smith, executive vice-president of the Maine Medical Association.
The session will be recorded and notes will be passed along to the transition team, which will use the input to prepare a plan for national health system reform, according to the medical association.
