Great spots for central Maine paddling
With the weather the way it's been the last week or so, I've been feeling the urge to get the canoe in the water, virtually every day it seems. But sometimes, I just don't have all day. I mean, who does? A couple of hours here and there, sure, but with a family including two little ones, a full day out on the water isn't always feasible. Great thing about my job is I get to call the people who are in the know, find out what they'd do if they had half a day to kill on the water and pick their brains about the best spots in the area. Last week, I talked to kayak dealers, paddling enthusiasts, DIF&W fisheries biologists and master Maine guides to get their takes on the best central Maine paddling spots. If you missed the story on Saturday, I think you'll find the information useful. I did. CLICK HERE to see the complete story from Saturday's Kennebec Journal. Bookmark/Search this post with:
